Job description
- Develop and implement comprehensive export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs.
- Identify opportunities for growth and optimize service offerings to customers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs rules and regulations.
- Prepare customs entry declarations, detailing all shipment-related information
- Manage the preparation and submission of the Shipping Bill and other essential export documents.
- Draft and obtain approval for the Air Waybill (AWB) and Release Bill of Lading
- Develop shipment plans and schedules based on customer requirements and carrier availability.
- Coordinate with carriers to obtain rate quotes and scheduling options for customers
- Provide customers with multiple carrier options and pricing for approval
- Receive and assess customer rate quote inquiries
- Follow up with customers for required documentation upon business confirmation.
- Place bookings with carriers and obtain booking confirmations.
- Ensure timely follow-up on required documentation and approvals
- Reviews of Daily Shipping Reports (DSR) and shipment planning to identify areas for improvement.
- Application for Form 13 with the terminal as required
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and policies
- Follow up with customers for required documentation upon business confirmation.
