Location: A-103, Mangalya complex, Marol Maroshi Road, Andheri (E), Mumbai – 400059.

Experience:

This is a team leader position at a Managerial level. The desired candiate must have 8-10 years of experience in handling Air export shipments

Key Skills

  • Should have indepth knowledge of Air Export operations/Pricing/Quotations and Sales
  • Should have good relations with all the major airlines
  • Must be conversant with airline and customs systems
  • Must have experience of leading a team
  • Should have the ability to multi-task

  • Must have experience in managing atleast 100-125 MT of air freight per month

Position: Sr Manager/Manager Operations

Experience:

This is the equivalent of a Dy Branch Manager position. The desired candidate must have a min of 10-12 years of experience in handling the operations for a major branch in Mumbai and should have in-depth knowledge of all the major activities of a branch.

  • Should have in-depth knowledge of operations for Air and Sea freight shipments, including both exports and imports
  • Should have customs knowledge to solve shipments which are stuck at customs

Position: Sr. Executive – Import Operations International Business

Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee LCL and FCL shipments, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish.
  • Oversee the entire logistics process, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
  • Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Track shipments and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate updates.

Position: NVOCC Manager

Customer Engagement:

  • Establish contact with customers to secure bookings and explain the range of products/services available.
  • Documentation Coordination: Collect KYC documents, booking slips, and shipment details (commodity, weight, port, vessel), ensuring all information is complete and accurate.

Space Allocation: Coordinate with slot operators for space allocation on vessels to ensure timely shipments.

Order Management:

  • Direct the documentation team to issue booking/delivery orders and ensure the proper flow of containers from the empty yard, adhering to FIFO principles.
  • Follow-ups: Track container pickup status and work with operations teams to ensure availability and timely completion of required documents (VGM, load list).

SOA Data Management: Prepare and send Statement of Accounts (SOA) data to the accounts team, along with supporting documents for approval.

Rate Negotiation: Negotiate shipment-specific rates with principals to optimize cost-efficiency.

Operational Oversight: Supervise NVOCC operations, including pricing, inventory, and documentation to ensure smooth operations.

Team Collaboration: Maintain consistent communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and resolve any issues.

 

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Experience: 4-8 years of experience in NVOCC heading operations, customer service, marketing, and documentation.

Skills: Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of NVOCC operations, logistics management, and documentation processes.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, with a strong customer-oriented approach.

The role requires smooth planning and coordination of export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and delivering excellent customer service. The Export Manager will oversee the entire export process.

Job description 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and optimize service offerings to customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs rules and regulations.
  • Prepare customs entry declarations, detailing all shipment-related information
  • Manage the preparation and submission of the Shipping Bill and other essential export documents.
  • Draft and obtain approval for the Air Waybill (AWB) and Release Bill of Lading

  • Candidate should have minimum 2- 3 Years of Experience in preparing the import checklist.
  • Must be familiar with the documentation filing process on ICEGATE.
  • Should have basic knowledge of all the incentives e.g., Advance Authorization, EPCG License, RODTEP, ROSCTL etc.
  • Should be able to communicate to the client in case of any short fall in the documents or any additional documents or information required.
  • Must be well versed with E-Sachit formalities.

Position: Sales Executive

  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Utilize inside sales knowledge.
  • Quote formal and spot bids.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers – including follow up on concerns or other issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes in pick-up/delivery and potential service failures.

  • Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals, and closes.

  • Coordinating the sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
  • Ensuring the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material.
  • Responding to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
  • Taking customer and vendor phone calls and responding quickly and efficiently
  • Distribute monthly, quarterly, and year-end sales volume reports.
